Question
I took a spill at work that I cannot remember because of a concussion I received when it happened.  My ears ring, I'm dizzy, my head,neck and shoulders are killing me as well as my back. My legs feel like they weigh a ton and they are weak.  
The CT and x-rays all look normal. How can I be in this much pain and nothing show up on the tests?

Dear Charlene,

It's common for muscles to go into contraction from a blow.  You hit your head and your neck muscles are in contraction, from the sound of your symptoms.  The neck muscles don't end in the neck, but go down the back.
