Getting a Doctor to diagnose the problem ?!?

Question
Hi, I was in a car accident 9/30/06.  I have really bad back and neck pain. I had 3 weeks of therapy and have seen 3 dr.s.   It was a drunk hit and run accident.  I have an attorney and am trying to get the pain diagnosed as whiplash from the accident.  None of these Dr.s will say on paper that this is caused from the accident. They won't say is isn't either.  I know it is because I didn't have the pain before.  I have a slight buldge at c6 and c7.  I was hit from the side and the back door came in and slammed the back of my seat as the air bag slammed into my face.  It was a crew cab Ford truck traveling 65mph and no skid marks.  He lost his front axles but got out and ran and the man that owned the truck said it was stolen.  I want to clam my pain and suffering but would like for the Drs reports to say it is injury from the accident. (Because it is)  How do you get them to do that.  They won't even give me a diagnosis they just say its pain from normal degenerative disease.    Thanks for any help.  Linda

Answer
Linda,
I am troubled that 3 doctors will not give you causation. What solution has your attorney suggested? What state are you in? I do not know whether a 4th doctor would have a different opinion? What type of doctors have you seen?
I don't know enough  about your case to advise you. There may not be a solution ,with all 3 doctors against you.Has your attorney conferred in person with all 3 doctors?
