cervical neck pain and problems

Question
I had an mri of my cervical spine and I've been diagnosed with stenosis, bulging, disc desiccation with spurring. I read here about an exercise you can do laying down or standing up making a figure 8 with your chin. Is this good for what I have? How many reps per day? Any other exercises you can give me to help alleviate the pain and problem. I have been getting traction, and am awaiting a home machine so I can do this more often. I have missed so much work because I can't sit down because of the pain.  Thank you.

Answer
I am sorry that you have been diagnosed with stenosis, bulging, disc desiccation with spurring.
How old are you?
I personally do not like figure 8 exercises but there are other exercises that our physical therapy uses to strengthen the cervical spine area.
I utilize cervical spinal decompression and have seen some amazing results with patients that have tried all other methods with little to no success.
Cervical traction is similar to cervical decompression but not the same.
I would do some homework looking into the DRX 9000 Cervical system.
Treatments can be a bit costly but hands down the BEST non-surgical treatment out there for bulging, herniated and desiccated discs.
