Question
Hi, about 2 1/2 years ago I injured my neck playing Rugby, Basically I was Hooker and the opposition went in at an angle and drove upwards lifting me up by my neck, which caused it to be forced down as far as it could go, There was about 3-4 loud clicks and my neck went into spasm, I have had pain in my neck ever since, I have been to Osteopaths, Physio, nothing seems to help, I have been trying to get a scan but with no luck on the NHS, what should I do?
Kind regards

Answer
Frank,
The Rugby injury that you suffered has caused an Upper Cervical Subluxation.  This is when the top two bones of the spine get locked out of place and can cause much more than neck pain.  Since the brainstem resides in that area, any interference from the subluxation on the brainstem can cause abnormal health symptoms.  Have you noticed any other trouble starting up sometime after the injury?
Traditional doctors can't help you because they are focusing on the effects of the problem and treating that rather than the cause and its correction.
This is why you have been to many doctors and have not yet gotten well.
If you truly want to get well you can do so without harmful drugs or surgery, that is possible for you.  But you have to either go to see the Doctor that I recommend to you or if there is no one in your area, travel to our clinic for Specific Upper Cervical Care.  Otherwise you are going to continue to get what you have gotten so far, and it does not sound too good to me.
So lets start with you sending me your town, state, and a few nearby cities.  I will reply to you with ideally one or two names.  Please keep in mind that there are only a select few Doctors in the entire world that were trained to properly do this work which was originated in America.
I am here to help you to get well, but you have to want it and you have to believe in the principle of what I can teach you.
