my son had an accident diving into pool 2 days  ago went to hospitals   said he had broken neck c3 & c7    how serious is this   he is also sick at stomach vomiting hes on pain meds   Thanks

I hope this question is actually a joke, but just in case it is not:

If he has broken C3 and C7 then THIS IS EXTREMELY SERIOUS.
GO BACK TO THE HOSPITAL AND HAVE A DOCTOR TELL YOU HOW TO PROCEED.

Stop whatever you're doing right now and take your son back to the hospital.  Please.
