Question
hello, what does the following mean?
small focal posterior central disc protrusion at c5-6. to the left midline. I was rear-ended twice right in a row! got hit once, then within seconds hit again. also I do have a venous malformation in my thoracic spine but that doesn't show up unless they use a contrast dye correct?  they said there is a osteopythic spurring in the thoracic spine. any advice will be appreciated. Thank you. Gina
ps I;m deathly allergic to iodine so hard for me to have any contrast in any test. ;o)

Answer
Gina, Iodine in your vessels is not a good thing anyway.  You have a disc in your neck that has gotten out of place and is coming out of where it should be.  It is most likely causing some sort of numbness or tingling in your arms or hands and probably on your left side but can also be on both sides.  You also have degeneration in your spine as well.  I know, it doesn't sound good but that is what it is.  Just so you know, the report does not say anything about your arms or hands or the numbness or tingling, or even what hand or arm was having trouble, that was my part.
Just so you know, if you do not do anything in the form of CORRECTING the cause of this problem, it will continue to get worse.
I would love to see those pics if you could attach them in to an email.  I could then discuss with you further my recommendations for correcting the cause of your problem in a humane and sensible way, not with harmful drugs or surgery.
