Question
I was wanting to know what you think i have been having pressure on my left groin area but olny when i am sitting. This has been going on for about 6 months. Started going to chirpractor and he thinks i have a compressed disc. How long should it take before i start feeling any differnce if what he thinks is right. also do you agree that this could be the prblem. i have olny had 4 tratments which consist of electric stimulation and then popping my back.
thanks for any information which might help me.

Answer
Hi Dave,

The time it takes for relief is different for everyone. You should feel some relief after 10 treatments. If you have not had some relief after 10 treatments, then either the diagnosis or treatment should be modified. Compressed discs are a potential cause of left groin pain but there are several other conditions that can cause similar symptoms.

I hope this helps!

Dr. Liza
