Question
i know you only specialize in foot and ankle things but i have no one else to go to. i am 14 years old and every time i run my left hip will get a really really bad pain. i can sort of feel it while I'm sitting but when i stand up and try to walk it is so painful. it feels like a broken bone because i broke my foot. but if it was broken wouldn't i not be able to move it? i have no idea what is wrong. it will hurt for days and then go away but as soon as i run it hurts. it gets worse  every time. its happened about 5 times in the past month. i have gym every other day on school days. we run 2 laps every time. this pain is really bad. once i had to actually crawl to my room because it hurts. do you have any idea what could be wrong?

Dear Amanda,

You need to tell your parents now-don't wait. Let them decide what is best. If you have a communication problem with them, communicate your problem to a responsible adult in your family, school or church/synagogue/mosque/etc..
Good Luck
Hope This Helps
