Question
I had a knot in my wrist after the shot (for tendonitis) for a few days but it went away.  Now I have something that pokes out in my wrist and it hurts badly.  It is almost like a little bone sticking out.  Could this be caused from the shot?  What do I need to do?

Answer
Patsy,
It sounds like you have a ganglion cyst (bible bump)..it is a hard bump that usually protrudes on the dorsal(top side) sometimes they are painful initially but after a while they are not. It shouldn't have anything to do with the shot, in fact sometimes a cortisone injection is used to treat ganglion cyst. In the old days they would whack it with a bible to burst it..ie bible bump.
