Scar Tissue after neuroma removal
9/21 15:02:49

Question
I had a morton's neuroma removed in June 2009. It healed slowly. Now I have a ball of scar tissue in that area. When I walk it feels like i'm walking on a marble and it presses on my nerves. It is not stump neuroma, just scar tissue from the removal. We've tried one steriod injection and it helped temporarily. Any other ideas for breaking up the scar tissue?

Answer
Unfortunately, there's no great way to break up scar tissue.  It happens with a surgery like that sometimes and often requires repeat surgery if the pain from the scar tissue is bad enough.

Wish I could give you a better outlook on the situation...
All the best,
