hi, I am a OTA student and I have to write a paper on spinal cord injury of the C6 level. I was wondering if you could tell me where I might find good information to help me. I need to write as if I am making home recommendations so that my patient can come home. I need to learn what changes need to be made in order to make my patients home livable. If you could point me in the right direction I would appreciate it. Thank you.

There are several websites that would be great starting points.  Google for these - Christopher Reeve Foundation, Paralyzed Veterans of America, The Miami Project, University of Alabama at Birmingham SCI Research.  I believe that each of these groups also lists contact phone numbers.
