Question
I have bilateral carpal tunnel syndrome, bilateral plantars fasciitis, chronic shoulder pain (modified radical mastectomy 1991) right knee pain and left hip pain. I am disabled due to these problems. Physical therapy only made me hurt more. Are these problems considered musculo-skeletal pain and could they possibly be connected to each other?

Answer
Yes, these problems are considered musculo-skeletal pain and their connection is the brain-level conditioning that keeps these muscle groups contracted.

Somatics is a more gentle approach than physical therapy and generally more effective because it concentrates on the center of control, the brain, and its conditioning, which regulates muscular tension.

I would suggest learning more by reading articles on somatics.com.  There are self-help resources and links to practitioners.
