ANSWER: Hello, Ritika Sharma,

You're tight on the left side of your neck and that's the discomfort/stress.

There is such a thing as muscle/movement memory -- which is not mental, but physical.  Muscles have an amount of tension that they retain during rest and this may vary according to whether a person has had an injury previously, such as a fall or a blow.

Please see these articles for more explanation:

A muscle returns to the "remembered" state of tension after stretching, which is why stretching produces only temporary relief.

To normalize muscle/movement memory, movement training of a specific kind is required.  The term is "somatic education".

It's possible that you may need preparatory exercises of a similar kind, to do this exercise well and get best results.  These are found in my instructional book, The Magic of Somatics | http://somatics.com/page7-somagic.htm

QUESTION: I have seen recommended u tube video but in my case I am feeling pain at the front side so should i follow same exercise?

Answer
Do the exercise and feel if it reaches the region of discomfort.  If so, continue.

If not, you need the exercises in the program, Get Free from Back Pain | http://somatics.com/page7-back_book.htm | (earlier title:  Free Yourself from Back Pain)
