arms and leg ache while sleeping

Question
Not long ago I started to have both arms and legs in ache and pain while sleeping during the night. This causes me losing lots of sleep. I'm not able to sound asleep longer than one hour without being awaked by numbness and aching feeling. This happens throughout the night and more intense as it's getting later into the night. I'm fine during the day. I am a regular jogger, jog an hour everyday. I eat good and healthy, weight 47 kg (105 lbs) and 47 years of age. I had one time laser surgery in my spinal cord 13 years ago. Otherwise I'm pretty healthy and can do lots of heavy physical housework.
What do I need to do, please help. I do appreciate your answer. Thank you.

Answer
Hi Kalya and thanks for writing,

Anytime I hear "numbness" I think nerves or circulation, so I would suggest you go to your doctor and ask for a referral to a Neurologist - you may have some pressure on some nerves running from your spine, or you may have a circulatory issue.

I hope this helps, all my best,

Margot
