Question
I am 17. I have lot of pain in my neck which goes through my both the shoulders and arms. Xray was normal. Doc said that its just a normal stress but after undergoing physio for more than a month i didnt got relief. I hear some swishing sound in back of my head and many time i also suffer headache.
Am suffering this for a year. Sometime i feel that i am loosing balance while walkin. I dnt know if these r normal cervical stress symtoms but i am unable to study and this is my last year of school.. Pls tell me how to cure it. am in great tension

Answer
Dear Dhananjay,

It sounds like there may be issue with the inner ears which control you balance.  There are nerves traveling along the neck which also contribute to the body balancing itself.  I would suggest for you to visit a specialist, EENT (eye, ear, nose and throat) doctor.  Or consult with a chiropractor who may be able to direct you to the proper doctor if he is unable to help.
