Question
Hello. I read on the internet that I should not use a anti-inflammatory medicine, such as Ibprofin, motrin, alieve, because I am taking a blood thinner medicine. Can you recommend what I should then take to help me with my frozen shoulder pain? Thanks for the help.

Answer
Hi David and thanks for writing,

Obviously you should discuss this with your physician as all analgesic-warfarin interactions potentiate warfarin and raise the INR but Paracetamol and Paracetamol/Codeine combinations are least likely to upset warfarin control.

I hope this answers your question,
Wishing you all the best,

Margot
