Questions to ask when trying to find a chiropractor

Question
I am considering going to a Chiropractor due to having two vertebrae out of alignment. The one in my neck is very painful. I have never been to a chiropractor and I have many options here in Atlanta. Please give me some questions I can ask to help narrow down my decision.

Answer
I'm assuming you are trying to find a chiropractor. If you've ever been to one, find out what techniques they did, and use that as a starting point. I'd recommend setting up a consultation with doctors in your area and seeing if you feel comfortable with them. There is a college in Atlanta (Marietta) so you may be able to find care for a reduced cost. (Life University) If you have questions about which techniques you've had...liked them or not...let me know and I can help direct you a little more. I don't think any one is better than the other...it all comes down to personal preference for the patient.

Hope this helps, and I'm glad you're looking to chiropractic!
