Question
Dear Mr. Mark Burnham, D.C.,

I am a 37 year old white female and I have a pinched nerve. My question is: When I go to my neurologist what will he prescribe me for the pain management or will he even prescribe me a medication for the pain management. Currently I am on Vicodin 5mg for this pain, do you think he will keep me on that or change my dosage over as that is not doing me any good at all!! PLEASE EMAIL ME BACK IF YOU DON'T KNOW THE ANSWER PLEASE GIVE ME ADVICE TO WHERE I CAN GO AND GET THE ANSWER IM SCARED TO DEATH!!! THANKS SO MUCH

LOVE,

MRS. FAULKNER

Answer
i cannot, nor am i interested in, giving recommendations about drugs. i am not in the profession of playing with symptoms. i don't know what they will recommend. i can only tell you that whatever it is, i can all but guarantee it is not going to solve the root cause of your problem and unless this is done, don't expect things to get better. be aware when i say better, i don't mean you might not feel better until the drugs wear off, though in fact, your health is slowly getting worse. i mean really better, as in naturally feeling better because you ARE better because the cause of the problem has been corrected. if correcting the cause interests you, i recommend you seek an HIO METHOD chiropractor. i would accept no substitutes.
