Hello Doctor,

I'm 27 years old and my shoulders are not leveled. There is also a curve in my neck due to which there is also a pain in my back. This is from childhood. Can u please guide how it can be cured. If chiropractic treatment won't work, then do i need an operation? Will it be successful? How much time will it take to be ok if i go for an operation or for chiropractic treatment. Please also tell what are the success percentage of full recovery at this age.

Ajit from your description it sounds like you have a form of scoliosis which is a curvature of the spine. I can not tell you if a chiropractor can fix your neck with the amount of information you gave me. However a chiropractor might be able to help you relieve the pain without necessarily straightening the curve in your neck and shoulders.

I am not a surgeon so I cannot comment as to whether or not surgery would help your case.
