headaches and disc alignment

Question
I recently had a professional massage because I had tension headaches and neck pain (I thought from being on the phone often at work).  My massage therapist said that I had a vertebrae out of alignment and then described exactly what my headaches were like.  She said I should see a chiropractor.

OK, now that I finally know my next step, where do I go from here?  How do I choose a chiropractor?  How much should I expect to pay?  (I'm very worried about not having enough money to get this taken care of!)

Answer
i recommend you search the net for HIO METHOD chiropractors in your area. also try upper cervical and upper cervical specific chiropractors to see if you can locate an HIO METHOD doctor. your initial visit will likely cost between one and two hundred. per visit fee will likely be between forty and sixty dollars. you will need a series of visits. expect to spend somewhere between one half to one thousand for your care. by far the most important consideration is to get the right care. if all you end up with is just therapy and the cause remains uncorrected, i don't care what kind of a deal you may have found, i would consider it a total waste.
