Pain in the butt :-)

Question
A couple of months ago I developed pain deep in my left buttock.  It isn't constant, tends to get worse at night.  Also worse when I stand.  Often, when first standing it sends kind of a shooting pain.  The symptoms went away for a month or so, now they are back.  I haven't been to the Dr.  and I have never been to a chiropractor.  I was thinking of trying a chiropractor....thoughts?

Answer
Karen,

What you've got is what we specialize in.  Find a chiropractor that also is good at deep, hands-on soft tissue work. DC's that have training in Myofascial Release methods or Graston Technique, or those that can combine muscular therapies with joint manipulation methods are sure to be helpful.  It is very safe healthcare compared to medicines.  Go to the American Chiropractic Association website: www.amerchiro.org  or to my website for more information. Why live with a pain in the butt when you don't have to?!
