Question
Hi again Dr.
I had written to you last week about some 'neck stuff' as my
question was titled. A reoccuring neck stiffness over many years
and a childhood/ teenhood/young adulthood full of extreme
sport tramas. Well, I did get an MRI out of curiosity. wondering if
you can offer some advice. it looks like my c4-c5 and c5-c6 are
herniated and my c6-c7 is buldging. my cervical curve is gone
and practically going the opposite way.  Of course, the Dr.s say
nothing can be done, but I don't belive a word of it. so now I
need to figure out how to manage it so it doesn't get worse and
hopefully reverse some damage and definitley restore my curve.
do YOU think it is possibe?  any exersices to begin
with..particularily about that cervical curve? advice about my
very actice lifestyle? Thanks again for yout time andhelp!

Thanks for writing!

Yes, there is a lot that can be done for this.

First of all, did you get to the doctors I recomended. If not, do so. They are at www.sorsi.com, www.icak.com, www.soto-usa.com.

There are cervical traction devises out there which will reverse this. The best is called a Posture Pump cervical trainer. It is available at www.scrip-inc.com.

A chiropractor could order it for you.

The cervical stairstep exercise, which I think I sent you would also correct it but it takes longer.

The active lifestyle should not change. Motion is life and life is motion.

Does this answer your question?

Ps: I am  in St. Louis, Mo. and much of this area has been out of electricity since Wed. Night. That is the reason for the slow response.
