Question
About 2 months ago I hurt my back.  Come to find out I have a bulging L5 disc.  I have been going to physical therapy, but have been having horrible nights the last few nights.  I can't get to sleep and when I finally do, I wake up in the middle of the night from my forearms cramping.  I don't know how to describe the pain.  I twist them and try to stretch them to relieve the pain, but it doesn't go away.  I am so frustrated from the lack of sleep.  What do I do?

Thanks for writing!

A bulging disc can be a real problem. Phsical therapy sometimes helps, but in your case it has not.

Get started on drinking a lot of water every day and night, about 8 ounces every hour and a half, at least. Get some herbal anti inflamatories and take them, as well as nutrition for the disc and ligaments.

Also, I would recomend a good chiropractor. They do things that a therapist cannot. Send me your location and I will see if I can locate one for you.
