Question
hi there,

im thinking of getting an inversion table after getting much benefit from hanging my head off the end of my bed!....the added blood flow to my head helps, with scalp problems, eye pain, and tenseness.

But are inversion tables safe?.....i worry about the pressure that might build up in my head.

many thanks

David, 27, UK

Answer
I'm sorry I can't give you an exact answer, all I know is that the extra blood flow is good, but why is it not getting there by itself, why do you have to hang upside down.  My experience tells me that your cranial bones are locked and are not pumping the blood properly.  I would seek professional help from a chiropractor that does craniopathy.  They can assist the bones back into proper motion.  As for pressure building up in your head, as long as you are not spending hours upside down, you will be fine.  Limit it to 15 minutes at a time.  If you are interested in locating a craniopath, go to www.sorsi.com.
