Popping in back & neck

Question
I have been having issues particularly weakness in the extremities since a neck injury 7 years ago.
Both MRI & CT scan looked within normal range.
I also have had some success with Network Spinal Analysis with a Doctor in another state.
My question is,
I was notising a popping sound, no pain with it
at the base of my cervical top of my thoracic spine
when I would rotate my head forward and to the left
I pressed on some tight muscles between the backbone and right shoulder near where the sounds where while I rotated
my head as before and I got rid of the popping for a few hours.
however the next day I had pain in my upper back
not in the same place as it was popping but a few inches
lower between spine and shoulder blade
it hurts more when I bend over slightly
or move my shoulders
massaging it myself helps for awhile.

Thanks for any suggestions.

Answer
I would look into some deep tissue massage, ask specifically for this, regular massage is not enough.  I would also look into some chiropractic treatments to get what ever is out of alignment back to working order.  Also some ultrasound and electric stimulation treatments at the doctors office could help.
