My muscles is very tight and don't really knowwhat to  do
about. pLEASE help me...

Answer
Hi, Jenny,

Muscles get tight from three major causes:

injury
emotional stress
repetitive use (conditioning)

From your writing, I can tell that you live your life in a state of too much haste.  That leads to heightened tension.  In effect, you have an overactive postural reflex triggered by stress.

I can't tell from your message whether your pain is on one side or both.

I can recommend a self-training program that will free you much tension in the upper trapezius, or I can direct you to a practitioner of clinical somatic education.  This is the only method I know of that produces lasting improvements.

To locate a practitioner, visit www.somatics.com/practitioners.htm.
For self-help programs, visit www.somatics.com/page7.htm.

For an article that explains mysterious pain of the type you describe, see www.somatics.com/page4.htm.

Lawrence Gold
