Calf Pain

Question
In 2005 I developed a herniated disc (L4 or L5, I don't remember). In addition there is another disc there that is bulging. After this incident, I experienced numbness down my left leg for several weeks until it disappeared. Since then I have experienced painfull cramps in the left calf muscle area. My orthopedic doctor gave me a shot in 2006, which did not help this problem. Of course my back has gotten worse as I now have pain down my right leg. I used to have the calf pain while at rest in bed. Now it has started cramping up while I am walking. In addition to the shot in 2006, I also had a neurologist check the nerve impulses in that leg in 2007, and had it checked for peripheral artery problems. Could this be a sign of spinal stenosis, or muscle damage from the nerve going numb. My research tells me this could be a dozen different problems.

Answer
Timothy,
You are on the right track when you say that it could be a dozen different problems, but in actuality it is the simple result of just one problem.  You see, your Brainstem runs your entire body, we refer to the brainstem as "Houston Control" of the body, it is the master of the body and nearly all of the nerves in the entire body make up the brainstem.
If you have an Upper Cervical Subluxation (C1-C2 locked in the wrong position interfering with the mental impulse between the brain and the body) then you will experience abnormal function of any kind and until that subluxation is properly corrected, you will never get well.
Therefore, you need to see an Upper Cervical Doctor of Chiropractic, this is the only Healthcare Professional with the proper training and skill to perform such a task.
Harmful drugs, radiation, and surgery are not the answer if you are looking to truly get well.
I would love to help you find someone in your area with this expertise.  Just send me your town and state and give me a couple of days to find someone that I can wholeheartedly recommend to you.  Please keep in mind that there are less than 500 of us in the world and therefore you may need to travel some for your care, it is certainly worth it however to get well.  We have a growing number of patients who travel 2 or 3 hours each way to come to our clinic for our specific care, and some from other states under our 14 day intensive program.
When you merely treat effects you can only attain a certain degree of health, when you correct the cause, you have no limits.
