Constant Neck & Nerve Irritation

Question
I am 20 years old and have had a constant neck discomfort for 4 to 5 months.  I can't remember doing anything drastic or waking up with neck pain one morning.  The best way I can describe it, is that I feel like I have a constant kink in my neck and that I need to move it to the left or right to crack it and relieve the this discomfort.  This crack provides some relief, however the discomfort is constant and the cracking/popping has continued for nearly 5 months now.  I also can feel nerve sensations on my face, feet and hands.  Lots of times I feel this tingling sensation above my eyebrows, sometimes leading to mild headaches.  It's a very light tingling sensation that can occur at these areas at any time.  There is no serious pain associated with any of this, but more of a constant discomfort and irritation.  I've never had anything like this in my life and am in very good shape.  I went to the doctor and my blood work was fine, along with MRI results which showed no major neck/nerve problems.  My doctor feels that I may be able to work this discomfort out as time progresses.  I still feel that there has to be some nerves involved or I wouldn't be feeling these abnormal sensations/irritations.  I was hoping that you could provide me with your opinion on my problem and what you feel may help towards reaching a solution.  Thank you.

Answer
Constant Neck & Nerve Irritation
Answer:
It sounds like you may have spinal misalignment. If you have been screened by your MD and everything else is ok but yet you still suffer it may be a good time to visit a local chiropractor. Chiropractors are trained to identify where spinal segments are not moving properly and causing nerve irritation and remove the problem with a spinal adjustment.
This usually takes several visits so be patient and don't expect over night success.
When you hear lots of noise or "crepitus" in your neck bones it usually means that segments below are restricted or locked up.
I see these conditions in my office everyday.
