Question
hi..i am a doctor from pakistan. my sister is 26 yrs old and she has been experiencing neurological symptoms for the last 2 years. these symptoms mimic carpal tunnel syndrome and she experiences aches pains and numbness in areas supplied by the ulnar nerve. these symptoms occur in her upper arm, fore arms and hands.
now she got an MRI scan performed and the report says there are bulges at C5 C6 AND C7 levels. and they are causing the disc to posteriorly efface the CSF column.
could you please guide us on how we should proceed and what can be done for her.? :)
thanks a lot.

Answer
Dr Fatima,
Can you send me the pics of the MRI via email?  I can help you much better after seeing those films.  Also, if there were any X-Rays taken of the C-Spine send those as well, thanks.
