Question
i am 67 yr old woman. i had a hip replacement 3 years ago. for the last three weeks i have a pain and weakness in the muscle and possibly the bone (i think its called the femur)3-4 inches front up from the knee.my husband also noticed that for these 3 weeks i have been limping and walking 'funnily'with legs fairly apart, like the old robots did!!!!!
its not too bad when i have nsaids but the question is still, why am i getting pain?

Answer
Dear Philip,   I can't tell you why you are getting this pain....  It could be from the hip replacement, it could be bone related, it could be osteoarthritis or rheumatoid arthritis etc...  Inorder to get a proper exam and diagnosis, you MUST see a doctor...

thank you,   karen
