sir age 48,weight 100 kg male, Sir I have been told to do knee joint replacement due to weight bearing arthritis.
sir allopathic doctor allow me to take lime water twice in a day use ful in numbers of way.But Ayurvedic doctors say that arthritic patient should not take lime water and tomatto like sour fruiets...pl advice

Unfortunately there is no way to cure your problem. The best thing you can do now is either have the surgery or find a way to control the pain and put it off for a while.

Lime will not make your arthritis worse. Except for gout it is really no evidence that it will make your symptoms any worse. I have never heard of an allopathic doctor recommending lime water.

Ayrurvedic offers little help with arthritis. They swear up and down that diet will fix the problem. The problem is that eating limes or tomatoes or any of the foods they have you stop eating are not the cause of arthritis or of inflammation.

There is one natural supplement that has been proven in many studies to be a powerful anti-inflammatory. It is omega 3 fatty acids. There are dozens of double blind studies all of which show that omega 3 can help control inflammation and the pain associated with it. Plus there are many other health benefits associated with them.
