Thank you for your time

Answer
Marylene,

Your doctor is right. Fibromyalgia does not cause swelling in your hands, feet and knees. It should not cause chronic pain in your shoulders or elbows. It is not unusual for someone with Fibromyalgia to have more than one autoimmune condition.

Blood test are often inconclusive when someone has RA or Lupus. This does not mean that you have one of these. The symptoms you have are consistent with these two as well as other autoimmune forms of arthritis.

I hope you find answers soon.
