Butt and leg pain

Question
Hi, my name is Kyle, I am 18, and I have had butt and leg pain for 2 years. I do not know exactly how it occurred but one morning I woke up with a lot of pain, I waited 2 weeks for the pain to decrease before finally visiting a doctor, since then I have gone to multiple doctors, physiotherapists, and one chiropractor.

The pain is not easily described, but I would say it originates from the middle of my left buttocks, then moves to the top of the back of my thigh, then to the top back of my knee, then to the back of my ankle.

I have been told by all of them that they knew exactly what it was, and would have me fixed up in a week. I have been given many exercises, acupuncture, and many machines on my back.

The only pain relief I got from physiotherapy was acupuncture, which only helped temporarily. My Chiropractor was the last person I have gone to see a few weeks ago, I was there 4 times a week for a month, after the first week he stopped doing his cracking, and just told me to keep doing the exercises he prescribed for me, I thought it was working, but after I stopped going to see the chiropractor the pain all came falling back in vengeance.

I am sorry for the long story, but I feel that if you knew exactly what's happened you might be able to help me better.

If you have any answers, I would be very interested, Thank you.

You need to go to your primary doctor and ask him or her for an MRI in order to see what exactly what is going on in the leg.  Until you get a diagnosis, any doctor you see is going to give you treatments upon treatments and it's a "catch as catch can" situation which is no good.

I am not a doctor, nor is my expertise in the area of your pain, but please ask for an MRI diagnostic exam so that the doctor can find the actual problem.
