Question
Hello Sharon, I just wanted to thank you for your web page. I had a tumor in the neck of my femur and it was removed a bone graft was done and 3 screws placed in the hip.  I want to walk so desperately.  I am going to pt and they are wonderful.  I was on crutches then a walker and now a cane.  I still wobble when I walk and I have no feeling in my thigh.  I feel best when I am lying down.  When I walk I have a lot of pain. I cannot compare with thr, but could you shed some light on when I will be sort of back to normal?  Or what can I do to help my recovery.

Answer
Hi Arleen

I wish I could help, but what you are going through is so far from my expertise I wouldn't even want to guess.  If I were you, I'd get to a competant orthopedist and see what the prognosis is.

Good luck to you, I wish you the best.

Sharon
