Question

unknown spots
For close to three months I have had an area on the ball of my right foot that doesn't seem to have changed. The spots don't itch or burn, but do occassionally ache. Because the area is slightly raised, I am conscious of it when I walk. During the summer I wore sandals with out socks and now I am wearing tennis shoes with socks. The only time the area looks different is when my foot has been wet for a while, (shower), then the skin looks more separated. Any idea what may have caused it, what this might be and what do I need to do?

Answer
From the photo, it can be a plantar's wart that is causing you trouble.  I suggest you visit your podiatrist for proper evaluation and, assuming it is a wart, for treatment.

All the best,
