Hi Celeste, since about 3 months I've been experiencing in my left arm (i'm wright handded). It all started one day I felt a little bodering pain in my little fingers' knuckle when I hit the <shift> key on a keybord wich I use to work. Then I started to feel a pain in a muscle of the arm (I think it could be the Extensor Digitorus communis or the Extensor Carpi ulnaris, see the link for support http://www.fortunecity.com/skyscraper/byte/1874/arm_diagram.htm) and after I went to a 10 session kinesiology therapy (that didn't help much) I started to felt pain in the Brachialis muscle.

I would appreciate very much if you can help. If you can't thanks anyway.

Thanks for writing me! I am sorry about the pain you're experiencing. Pain is never a welcome event and is never very easy to treat.  First let me say that if you have not yet seen a doctor specifically for the pain in your arm and fingers, you need to emmediately. Many times there is  a physical problem that can be easily treated.  My first thought was a pulled muscle, which I used to have a ton of, but a good deal of pulled muscles dont last as long as yours have.  Anyway, (and I stress that my expertise is in chronic pain) for pain management now, I always suggest heat. One thing that I absolutely LOVE for hand and digit pain is a parrafin unit. It's this tub (mine is made by HOMETICS) that comes with blocks of clear parrafin wax. You melt the wax in the tub and then dip your hands or feet in it. The heat really relaxes the muscles and it makes your hands and feet soft at the same time.  I use mine every day, even when there is little pain in my extremeties. Hot water is good too, but drying. Over the counter pain releivers (extra strenght Tylenol and Advil) will help the less severe pain. If it is indeed a pulled muscle or a chronic pain problem (like arthritis) then it is very important to keep it moving and to do your own little physical therapy routine; I like those foam squeeze stress balls. However, you need to see a doc to determine what it is before moving it excessivly. That's about the best advice I can give you, since I am more familiar with long term multi body system/organ pain.
