Question
my left foot has been swolen for 3 weeks no pain some discomfert on top of foot I have to force foot into shoe sometimes it dosent fit what can I do to get the swelling down thank you  john

Answer
Hello John

Wow, been there! BOTH feet.

What it is caused by is poor circulation. You use your RIGHT foot to drive, so your right foot gets exercise. Your left foot does NOT.

Here is what you can do; go to Home Depot and buy a couple of 5 gallon pails with lids. And buy a concrete construction block. Put some water into the pails, put the lids back on, and, wearing shoes, step up and down on the concrete block. Do it in the morning, when you wake up, and again at night, before you go to sleep. Do every day. Once a week, add more water to the pails. Do 5-15 minutes each time.

What this exercise will do is make the muscle work harder, get the metabolism up, speed up the blood flow, and make the swelling go down.

Thanks for the question. Have a great day.
