My husband has pain from his right elbow to his right ear

Question
My husband has pain from his right elbow to his right ear. He normally has a high tolerance for pain, but this seems to really be bothering him. He is not one to go to the doctor, which is why I am asking this question. It seems to hurt when he moves. I asked if he has any numbness, and he told me only at night when his arm goes to sleep. I do not know what is causing this pain. I am sorry that I can't be more specific, but this is all he will tell me. Please help if you can.

Thank You,
Tammy

Answer
Dear Tammy,

There could be a variety of causes for the elbow pain and numbness.  It can range from blood circulation to muscles strain.  I don't know how the ear pain would tie into the arm pain.  It is quite vague to draw any conclusion.  Perhaps, the best way to properly know is to have your husband have a doctor take a look at the complaint.  He can go to a Medical doctor, chiropractor or acupuncturist.

Happy Chinese New Year by the way.
