Question
Hi Mr. Gold
My right leg seems crooked - my right knee is "knocked" and my right foot when standing is pointed out at a 60 degree angle and my hip socket is painful and the heel of my right shoe shows wear on the right side. When I walk my right leg makes kind of a C curve. Any suggestions?

Answer
Hello, Joseph.

You have patterns of muscular contraction that affect the shape and movement of your leg and trunk.

As a start, do the somatic education exercise introduced here. | https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J4AkUUPIi5M&list=UUyy0q-Y6ivw-aHKkqWpzJng (You may cut and past this address into your browser address-line.)  Note that location of the full tutorial exists in the description on the page for that video clip.

Generally, patterns like that involve other states of muscular contraction as well.  A more complete consultation is called for, for further recommendations.  Please see http://somatics.com/page7-consultation.htm.
