Question
QUESTION: Jon, My daughter is 18 and has a combination of mental illnesses. We have supported her in every way,but she needs and wants to be on her own. My husband and I are both currently unemployed but are willing to deplete anything to find a pleasant group living setting.  We live in Lee, NH - close to Durham, but northern MA would also work - please help.  My heart is broken. Sincerely, Leslie

ANSWER: Hi Leslie,

So sorry to hear about your situation. When you say she has a combination of mental illness, what does that mean? Does she have other disabling conditions? It would help if you could tell me what her diagnosis is.

Thanks,
