Question
I have friends who have advised me to see a Chiropractor due to my back problems. However, they have told me that they have been advised that if they cannot be treated within 4 - 8 sessions that they should be refered to a doctors. I have now had a visit and have been advised that this will take approx 18 sessions which will be very expensive. Is there such a thing as a 'norm' as this seems excessive to me.

eighteen visits is not excessive if you are getting the cause of the problem corrected. this is the true purpose of chiropractic, not trying to suppress your symptoms. hopefully this is the kind of care you are receiving. if you are not sure, i recommend you consult an HIO METHOD chiropractor.
