Is chiropratic considered to be in the same category as holist medicine? Thanks

as medicine primarily concerns itself with allopathic methods, that is, with attempting to oppose the manifestations of illness, whereas traditional chiropractic concerns itself solely with correction of cause, i consider the term "chiropractic medicine" to be an oxymoron sometimes used it seems by persons who use allopathic methods permissible within the scope of a chiropractic license.
