Answer
Hi, Jimmy

When your chiropractor says "tight", it means your muscle tone is tighter than normal (usually soft when palpate), and a motion in the joint is not moving easily.  That's what she meant when she says tight.  "Tight" musculature is very common symptom for adults who gets daily stress, physical activities, not enough relax, or lack of sleep, etc.

If you just feel fine with minor symtoms, and you can handle your pain, once a month is good for maintaining your spine.  However, if you do not get any benefit from it, there is no reason to see her every month.  I mean if you feel that she cannot give you proper treatment on your neck or back which will give you discomfort, you should see another chiropractor.  You might want to see male chiropractor next time.
