facet tropism

Question
i am all but sure i have this at l3-l4

as also have a few other birth defects like spina bifida at that same vertbrae and a left femur that is rotatoted and also

one foot is quite collapsed little arch.

this article does back up so many of the same symptoms that i do have. like modic changes as seen on the mri of that said vertbrae

and 3 prolapsed discs at l3-l4 l4-l5 l5-s1 i surely bet mostly

caused from the facet tropism

also hypermobility for many years when i turn over in bed

that said vertbrae aloud snapping sound many times

also the right side psoas and illacus is chroncially tight but

i have improved on quite a bit working on the TrPs every day

also slight scolosis

so i have all but figured out what i have the question is just

what to do it about it.

this link does very much back up the exact same symptoms

http://www.actaorthopaedica.be/acta/download/1996-2/8767157.pdf

i was thinking of spinal fusion but then from reading more about

it the 10 out of 10 pain for 3 months after being in a body cast

and the potential for nevre damage and even less mobility

and then there are operations for the discs but as that facet

tropism most likely the cause if i had part of the discs removed

surely they would be coming back in a few years.

then there is chiropractic well a few chiros have worked on my

lumbar and also my dynfunctional right si joint

but never did get anywhere.

every have u had anybody with troubles like this and just what

do you recommend?

thanking you in advance

Answer
Chatchai,

One thing that I can tell you is that what you have tried has not helped you because you have not yet tried the right approach.  Do not do anything drastic just yet and send me all pictures (MRI/XRay/CT) that you have of your spine.  If you could send me pictures of your ENTIRE SPINE, I can analyze them and give you my professional opinion.  I have had some severe cases of scoliosis and also of lumbar and sacral dysfunction that responded wonderfully to our specific care.  Just send over the films and then we can go from there.  You can email them to me or send them physical mail.
