Pain in neck, shoulder and head

Question
I had a surgery for wrist ganglion in march 2009. since then i am having pain in my lower part of the palm with the feeling of something pricking me with a needle. this pain then shoots upwards towards my arm. I cannot bend my middle finger completely till today. it is somewhat stiff. when i do water exercise or lot of washing at home then its relieved little. Lately this condition has become worst with the pain moving right upwards towards my neck and right side of the head with dizziness at times. also there's pain on the right side front shoulder bone besides the neck which is really terrible. It starts all of a sudden and it looks as if my whole hand muscles from inside are shortened and tightened and hence the shoulder bone protruding forward. i just cant explain how it is. Please help me and advise me whom i should consult in this case - any specialist? Doctor who had done surgery once year ago is of no help. i went to him earlier last year because of the pain but he sent me back saying he has done many similar surgeries and no complains so far. you just need to have more pain tolerance power.

Answer
First and foremost you need to get a second opinion as to the efficacy of your hand surgery. You also need to find out if there was any ligamentous damage such as shortening of any of the ligaments or tendons in your hand. it would be wise to see a specialist in hand and wrist surgery field rather than a general surgeon.

For the other symptoms I would see a chiropractor to see what problems he can help you with.

Your symptom picture suggests that you may have more than one thing wrong with you. More specifically an upper back and neck problem.

I hope this helps in your health journey and helps you to make decisions on which steps to take next.
