Question
Are overdeveloped muscles permanent? If not, what is the best way to lose them?

Answer
Jane,

One reason muscles overdevelop is that they are opposed by other muscles that are too tight.  Another reason is poor posture (physical structure), which may necessitate constant contraction and buildup of certain muscles.

One good way to lose the overdevelopment is to reset the tone of the muscles that interact with the overdeveloped one(s) -- lower.

Somatic training is a method that can accomplish that end.  Rolfing is another.
