Question
QUESTION: My grandma had major back sugery where they put a rod threw the back into her spine and medal discs threw the front in her spine and neck last year and now the doctors say that because of the way she stands they are bending significantly. She has to have knee surgery which because of her back is moved to September. They want to redo the surgery on her back in December and she doesn't know if she wants to go threw it all over again. What should she do? If she doesn't what would happen to her back? It is bending her whole back and could possibly cause her spine to snap. I'm really worried and I hate seeing my mom so upset over my grandma. I love her and I just want her to be okay. Please let me know what to do... it would probably be easier to just email me. Thanks, Rachael

ANSWER: Rachael,

ANSWER: I can email you back, but I might as well answer you right here since we keep going back and forth anyhow.  Please keep in mind that once a person goes through such a drastic attempt at health such as the rods, etc. implanted via surgery, that person is extremely limited from this point forward.  It would also help me a great deal to see pictures of what was done through x-rays, I can then offer a better judgement call.
At this point it might just be best to let them try and fix what they botched up in the first place.  If she were able to have the artificial parts removed, at least the rods, then there could be some correction done,  I just don't think that these rods were implanted with ever taking them out in mind.  That would make them a permanent fixture and then trying to get the best out of them by letting them do another surgery may be the best option at this point, I am sorry to say.  We can help almost any person in almost situation, but surgery is one of those things that can dramatically alter our chances.

QUESTION: Thanks for your opinion. I don't have any x-rays I could show you... actually I don't even think my grandma has any... I'm not sure if the rod is the main problem, but it defiantly is bending. The disks I think are the main issue ,at least from hearing what my mom has said, I think they are worried about them completely breaking and snapping her spine or neck. I sort of figured you were going to say that and I realize that that is probably the best answer, but I don't think my grandma is strong enough to go threw with the surgery again. Last time she didn't do her exercises like they told her, she sat around, and my grandma continuously falls. She already has broken her right wrist twice, her left wrist once, her ribs now, and then on top of that she needs knee surgery. My grandma doesn't have enough will power to fight to get better. Also, if they put her on more medication after the surgery for pain she could die from over dosing. My grandma is already addicted to the pain medication she is on now. I just want to know if there is any other possible way that could help my grandma without having to go through surgery or is that her only answer. If you can't answer that because of the lack of knowledge I'll understand, but please try.
Thank you so much

Answer
Rachael,
This is very tough because more than likely there is nothing more that could be done for her. The care that I provide to patients of all ages gets such miraculous results because we correct the interference at the brainstem level and the body heals from any disease known to man.  This occurs when there are not any rods put in the body or fake-parts put in, or any god given parts that were taken out.  Once that occurs the persons chances are tremendously reduced.  I hate to say it but I do not think there is anything that can be done for her at this point, it seems as though the damage has been done.
As I said earlier, if she could have the fake parts removed and get off the drugs we could help her to get well, regardless of her age or condition, but since she has had so much intervention she is past the point of help from our type of care anyway.  This is why I said that she should probably see what they can do for her at this point because there is nothing else that I could suggest.
I am sorry.
