my mri c-spine report states: "impression mild posterior prominence of the C5-6 disc; "findings"...mild anterior bulging of the T10-11 and T11-12 dis anuli. There are small ventral marginal osteophytes.  Small amount of disc osteophyte complex posteriorly at the T11-12 with mild effacement of the ventral subarachnoid space. Bone marrow is unremarkable other than for severl small hemangiomas in the bodies of the 7th and 10th thoracic vertebrae. AND
my mri L spine states: "impression left paracentral L5-S1 disc protrusion; facet and ligamentous hypertrophy at the L4-5 level with mild dorsal encroachment on the thecal sac.; "findings" there is a loss of T2 signal in the L5-S1 disc indicating disc desiccation. There is a small left paracentral focal disc protrusion of the L5-S1 disc with an impression upon the thecal sac and possibly displacement of the descending left S1 nerve root. mild facet and ligamentous. WHAT DOES ALL THIS MEAN?

Answer
Noreen,
This basically means that you have multiple spinal bones that are mis-aligned and in some of those areas the discs are affected as well as some nerves, this is not normal.
Let me ask you a question; with all of this trouble do you have any numbness or tingling going down the arms or legs yet?
Can you send me the pictures to look at?  If so, send them to [email protected]
I will let you know if I can help you or at least what is going on after I see your films.
Yours in Best Health,
