Arm shaking cause fractured neck??

Question
I had a fall and got xrays which doctor said showed I had a fractured cervical vertebrae and compressed(c7/t1) that pinches the c8 nerve. My question is when i move my arm out to stretch or move it up to put on a shirt my shoulder and arm shake BAD/hurts. I also have numbness/tingling in my pinky and ring fingers. Is this from the nerve or what is it?? My back, shoulder, and chest are also in pain could this be from fractured neck?

Thanks for any help

Answer
Hello, TJ.

You have reflexive muscular contractions triggered by the fall and fracture.  Moving your arm causes those muscles to contract further, compressing nerves that go down your arm and causing symptoms and functional changes.

Please see my article on recovery from injury at somatics.com/page4b.htm.
