Question
It started with the pain in the neck and radiation of pain
& numbness to the left hand. With Yoga exercise the pain
has been cured. I still get the numbness in the left hand
and the left hand fingers. This numbness I feel is not
continuous but I feel this off and on

Answer
Mohan,
Most likely you have a problem in your Upper Cervical Spine (C1-C2) or possibly in the lower cervical spine (C5-C6-C7).  Do you have any XRays or MRI's of your cervical spine taken in the last 6 months or year?  If so, you can email them to me to look at further and give you a more certain answer.
If not, I highly suggest that you go to an Upper Cervical Specific Doctor for at least an evaluation to see what the trouble really is.
Respond with your location and you are welcome to come to our clinic of course, but I can try to find someone with the same training that may be closer to you.
Yours in Best Health,
Dr Robert Arnone
